BSNL GPRS SETTINGS – WORKING SEP’2009

AFirst you have to activate your BSNL GPRS
In order to avail GPRS send GPRSPRE , in case of prepaid.Postpaid customers can send GPRS199 or GPRS49 for monthly rental plan of Rs 199 or Rs 49 respectively to 53733 (Toll Free)

To download settings automatically to your mobile:
Send SMS (Handset model) Eg NOKIA 6630 OR SAMSUNG SGH-D526 to 58355(Toll free)

MANUAL SETTINGS:

•  GPRS Settings:

Account Name – BSNL GPRS
Username -
Password -
Proxy – disabled/no
Homepage – www.google.com
Proxy and Server address -
Proxy and Server Port -
Acces Point Name – bsnlnet (For all Zones)

• Portal Settings:

Account Name – CELLONE PORTAL
Username – ppp
Password – ppp123
Proxy – enabled/yes
Homepage – www.google.com
Proxy and Server address – 10.31.54.2
Proxy and Server Port – 9201  or  9401
Acces Point Name – portalnorth.cellone.in (for north zone)
portaleast.cellone.in (for east zone)
portalwest.cellone.in (for west zone)
portalsouth.cellone.in (for south zone)

•  Wap Settings:

Account Name – BSNL WAP
Username – ppp
Password – ppp123
Proxy – enabled/yes
Homepage – www.google.com

Proxy and Server address – 10.31.54.2
Proxy and Server Port – 9201  or  9401
Acces Point Name – wapnorth.cellone.in (for north zone)
wapeast.cellone.in (for east zone)
wapwest.cellone.in (for west zone)
wapsouth.cellone.in (for south zone)

•   MMS Settings:

Account Name – BSNL MMS
Username – ppp
Password – ppp123
Proxy – enabled/yes
Homepage – www.google.com
Proxy and Server address – 10.31.54.2
Proxy and Server Port – 9201 or  9401
Acces Point Name – bsnlmms

To download content from wap.cellone.in,use bsnlportal ,for others use bsnl wap and for laptop/pc surfing use bsnl gprs.

For Prepaid users GPRS surfing rate will be 5 paise per 10 kb and Post paid users can have a monthly subscription of Rs 49 or 199.

   i have a cell phone of sony ericsson company model no R306, and having Bsnl prepaid connection, but unable to activate gprs settings on my phone. help me out if any one having any sort out of it.

   My BSNL GPRS connection had stopped working from this afternoon (10.12.09). I changed GPRS/PORTAL and WAP settings as per your webpage and now am being able to connect to gmail chat and also access pushmail on my HTC Hero. I can view google map on the htc application as well. However for some strange reason I cannot browse using the default browser. What could I have done wrong?

   HELP!!!

   I am using Nokia 6021 and settings done as above. Only BSNL site can be opened. In mobile others are “no access to server”. Als unable to connect thu PC. Pl help

   I’ve a nokia 2330c-2 and whenever i connect it with my pc to connect to the internet a message appears in my cellphone i.e. Subscribe to packet data first. Suggest of how can i solve this problem

    This problem can be resolved only u have to do :-

    1. Enable your packet data always online…

    Go-to-Connectivity–packet data setting–enable it to always online–

    2. Enable your network in manual..

    Go to setting– phone—network selection— search— select cellone or your operator— (home network selected)

    done…

    Try it…

    I am recently purchased bsnl 3g sim i canot use in my samsung (enternitty) SGH-A867 please sent bsnl gprs 3g manuel setting for my samsung SGH-A867 thanks
